Roster Complete: VIMODROM Baskets Kick Off the New Season

Last Sunday, the newly formed VIMODROM Baskets Jena team met for the first time in this lineup. This was an important occasion for the DBBL Division 2 team: Some of the players hadn’t met yet, but now the entire squad sat down together and got in the right mindset for the upcoming season.

The focus was on an initial discussion of what lies ahead in the coming months. Pre-season schedules were presented, as were the points of contact the players can turn to with questions about training and organization. The team and staff also jointly established the rules and procedures for training sessions and game days to ensure clarity from the start.

The atmosphere at the meeting was positive. Everyone was clearly looking forward to the new season and left the meeting feeling motivated. A team that’s just coming together doesn’t bond on its own—so a meeting like this is exactly the right starting point.

The only question that remains is who will be the team captain. The team will decide who will take on this role over the course of the coming week.
