Thank you, Cianna: Gloster is leaving the VIMODROM Baskets Jena
A Season That Speaks
for Itself The American arrived in Jena for the 2025–2026 season and immediately took on responsibility at the power forward position—both literally and figuratively. At 1.80 m, she wasn’t the tallest player under the basket, but she more than made up for it with her dedication, intelligence, and stamina. Gloster averaged over 32 minutes per game—a figure that, for a frontcourt player, demonstrates just how indispensable she was to her team’s success.
The numbers speak for themselves: Averaging 14.6 points and 11.0 rebounds means that week after week, Cianna Gloster came within a hair’s breadth of a double-double—one of the most challenging milestones in basketball, achieved only by players who dominate a game in two categories simultaneously. On top of that, she averaged 2.3 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, as well as 1.4 assists—statistics that prove she not only grabbed rebounds but also made an impact on defense and helped shape her teammates’ play. All in all, this paints the picture of a player who was the cornerstone of the team’s interior defense throughout the entire season.
More Than Just Statistics
But what made Cianna Gloster special cannot be captured by numbers alone. It was the consistency with which she fought for every ball night after night, the presence she exuded under the baskets, and the reliability her teammates could count on in crucial moments. Gloster was a player who not only fulfilled her role but shaped it—and in doing so, became a respected figure within the team even off the court.
A Message of Thanks from the Club
For her one—but all the more impressive—season in the #20 jersey, the club and all the fans of the VIMODROM Baskets Jena extend their heartfelt thanks. Cianna Gloster brought stability to the team under the baskets and gave the fans in the arena moments they’ll remember for a long time to come.
The club wishes her all the very best for her future—whether on or off the court. Stay just as you’ve been: strong, reliable, and with the heart of a fighter.
Thank you, Cianna. And all the best!
